Five red-and-green macaws were recently released into the vast wetlands of Ibera Park. Raised by the Buenos Aires Ecoparque, the macaws Yvera, Tekosay, Porá, and Mburucuya arrived at the Aguará Conservation Center, where they acquired flight and anti-predator skills needed to return to the wild. These individuals were released in the Cambyretá Gateway, where we expect they will fulfill their key ecological role of seed dispersers.
