The fires that scorched Iberá at the beginning of the year caused the emergency evacuation of two red-and-green macaw chicks - Tokwaj and Mbutu - in the Cambyretá Gateway. Thanks to the Aguará Conservation Center’s team, Tokwaj and Mbutu went through flight and anti-predator training and learned all the necessary skills to be able to return to the wild. These two macaws were recently released and are now soaring the skies of Iberá.
