As spring commences, the reproductive season of the red-and-green macaw begins. Three pairs of macaws from the Cambyretá Gateway in the Iberá Park, are defending their nests and displaying typical reproductive behaviors. This time of year is critical to increase the population numbers of the species and guarantee the return of the red-and-green macaw in Iberá. Therefore, our team is periodically monitoring these pairs to help the macaws breed, lay eggs and hatch chicks successfully.
