The maned wolf pups are four months old! Thanks to the signals emitted by the collars worn by their parents, Malevo and Preta, and the videos recorded by camera traps, we have observed that the pups have stopped nursing and now only eat the meat that their parents regurgitate. These little maned wolves are adventuring more into the wetlands by themselves, and will soon learn to hunt. Since offspring mortality is high amongst the species, we celebrate that the pups keep growing strong.
