Thanks to the care Nania is receiving, she is in great health and becoming more confident and independent by the day. Soon, she will be ready for life in the wild among other wild elephants. Nania was found in a village near Deux-Bale National Park, an area where only 30 to 40 elephants remain. We believe Nania’s mother might be one of them.
